    2. Warm Clothes
      In the Kedarnath temple weather is very cold all the time. Even in summer as well. You might experience snowfall there, so it’s very important you carry your winter clothes Jackets, etc with you which cover you from toe to head.
    3. Medicines
      As we know that the Kedarnath temple is placed at an altitude of 3587 meters above sea level. Catching a cold and fever chances are very high. It would be beneficial for you to carry certain important medicines with you for your cold and fever. You can carry some extra medicine for your stomach and vomiting. Which would help you during the Kedarnath Temple trek and it would prevent you from unnecessary dependence upon some other person.
    4. Good Snow Hiking Boots
      During the Trek towards Kedarnath Temple, we would prefer you to carry good trekking boots because you must walk around 18 km and it would take to you 9 hours to get there. You can easily walk during snowfall with such kinds of boots. It would be a good investment if you are a regular trekker.
    5. Packed Food

      Jio Network is the best Network around the Kedarnath Temple. Jio Network will provide you best network while trekking at Kedarnath Temple. There is another network as well, but they are not working well over there. We would prefer carrying extra batteries, a power bank, earphones, etc.

       Generally the Kedarnath yatra cost from Haridwar is INR 9500 per person for four days and three nights trip. This package will include meals(i.e Day one dinner to day four breakfast), travelling cost from Haridwar to Haridwar, three night hotel stay on multiple sharing basis, trek leader etc.

      The fare of the five seater helicopter is INR 7,347 per person approx for a round trip. Pilgrims can also book one way ticket too. It will cost INR 3,200 per person approx. Extra charges are taken for priority darshan for the same day passengers.
       
      The checks are mainly for those pilgrims over the age of 50 years who plan to undertake the trip to the higher altitudes of Badrinath and Kedarnath. These medical tests will be conducted at a health check up center set up in Kedarnath and in Guptkashi, Phata and Songprayag.
